Top Things to Do In Las Vegas During The Pandemic

Las Vegas is one of the top destinations for high-class hospitality and anticipated exploration. However, COVID-19 definitely knows how to shut down a Vegas party...and not in a good way. Here are some things to do that are still very cool but also covid conscious.

While the COVID-19 pandemic continues to change the world and our daily life practices, we continue to change with it. These changes include wearing masks, practicing social distancing, pushing cotton swabs way too far into our nasal passages...and so much more.

It seems as if currently, we must approach everything with a new set of eyes and find our own adaptations.

Hospitality workers are hearing more and more every day how Vegas is "not how it used to be," and as a local event team, we can tell you that it really is not. Luckily, while the city of lights is indeed different, there are still plenty of things to do that are safe, exciting and explorative. Viva Las Vegas!

Indoor and outdoor dining is available in Las Vegas - with many precautions put in place. Vegas makes it easy to still visit all of your favorite restaurants and feel alright about doing so. Make sure to make a reservation and bring your mask for times you must walk around the restaurant. Also, check out our blog post about how some Vegas restaurants are practicing social distancing in extra special ways!

Las Vegas is FILLED to the brim with some of the most beautiful art in the world. An array of local and regional artists have shared their talents with the world all throughout the city. If you're driving into Vegas from California, you should stop at the Seven Magic Mountains (pictured above); especially if it is gloomy out, as you will see the vibrance of the rocks more clearly. The Neon Museum and the Downtown Art Walk are two other sites that are a must-see. While some of the art is indoors, there is so much to see that is all outside as well. Check out our blog post on the best spots for photoshoots of product or people Downtown.

One of the best things about Las Vegas is variety. We are not all glits and glamour but nature and culture, as well. Some of the best trails on the West Coast are located right outside of the city and lead you to one of a kind rock formations or even layered hot springs.

Go back in time and visit a retro drive-in theater. Believe it or not, Vegas actually has a few places you can do this - Snappy Burger and the West Wind drive-in being a couple to highlight. These places are perfect for a date night, family outing with a couple of fold-out chairs or just to chill with a few friends.

Las Vegas is full of things to see - it can be hard to catch it all. Take a ride on one of quite a few zip-lines that the city has to offer. FLY LINQ and the Fremont Street Experience zip-lines are two that should be mentioned here but all are great options to get a better, faster view of the city.

Vegas is perfect for experiencing the thrill of driving very fast, in very exotic vehicles. Although a bit outside the city, Speed Vegas and Exotics Racing are a couple amazing options to live out this dream.

A perfect way to take in some greenery as well as have some socially-distanced fun is to visit one of the many gorgeous gold courses the city has to offer. They are located all over town from East to West and even right on Las Vegas Boulevard.

While the iconic Las Vegas Strip has dazzling buildings and an exciting atmosphere, it is a bit more difficult to stroll around since it is deceivingly large. It is just about an hour and a half walk from the Mandalay Bay to The STRAT, but about a 20 minute walk from the Fremont Street Experience down to about PublicUs, as this area marks a decent stop to see the entire street starting from older properties to more recent creations.
